Job Title: Field Project Assistant

Reporting to: Project Coordinator

 About Human Appeal:

Human Appeal international (HA) is a humanitarian, non-governmental and non-profit organization that works in 25 countries around the world since 1991.

 Background:

Since 2013 HA has set up an office in Turkey. HA is an active Organization to provide all kind of emergency aid and support to

the affected people by conflict in Syria. HA is responding in Education, Food and livelihood, Non Food Items, WASH, Shelter and

many other Sectors.

 The Purpose Of Position:

Implement and follow up the different field activities to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the HA Projects, and that the projects meets the needs and satisfaction of beneficiaries.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate in implementation of needs assessments in HA Projects Area.

2. Ensure that beneficiaries are selected based on agreed criteria and are registered according to procedure.

3. Collect the required information in the field to facilitate the follow up of the project, with the support of the project coordinator.

4. Collect and report any new security information, incident or any change of the context to the project coordinator.

5. With the Field team and M&E team, ensure that adequate and accurate records of information on beneficiaries are made and undertake regular data entry work as required.

6. Facilitate the evaluation of the projects in the field, as required.

7. Collaborate to ensure the coherence of the different activities of the programmes in collaboration with other officers and project coordinator.

8. Participate in regular electronic data entry of distribution records.

9. Provide timely, transparent reports on distribution activities to the project coordinator.

10. Support the project coordinator/Project Team by communicating and liaising with local partners (where relevant) to ensure that activities are implemented in a timely manner and follow agreed procedures.

11. Assist the project team to ensure that HA principles are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders in the field and that a fair and transparent beneficiary selection process is established and shared widely.

12. Liaise with the logistics team to ensure smooth running of activities.

13. Any other duties assigned by the Programmes Manager.

 Minimum Requirements:

- Relevant Education, University degree preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year’ Experience with humanitarian organizations.

- Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel…).

- Able to communicate verbally and written in English, Arabic.

- Well-developed organizational and planning skills.

- Punctuality and respect for rules and procedures.

- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and well under pressure.

- Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality regarding work-related information and data.
